Palolem Beach is one the most familiar beach spot located in South Goa,2km west of Chaudi. Getting Palolem Beach
Goa Palolem beach is just 3 km away from Canacona Railway station. Tourists can hire taxis and auto-rickshaws to reach Palolem beach from Margao which is 40 km away. There are regular buses from Margao to Palolem that drop tourists at Canacona village. Panaji, the capital of Goa, is more than 70 km away.
Things To Do in Palolem Beach
There are lots of souvenir shops selling some pretty all sorts of goods; mostly some pretty cool t-shirts and clothes. One can also find the traditional handicrafts from all over India as well.
At the far north of the beach is a small island that looks like a set from Jurassic park and is well worth exploring. It is possible to walk at low tide but it is not a long swim.
One can go for dolphin watching.Hire a boat and go venture into the sea where you will be able to spot the dolphins.

Butterfly beach is less than 100m across and can be reached only by boat. The water here becomes very deep after about 10m, so be careful as well.
